Reminder: March Scholarships Coming Due

American Public University System (APUS) Academic Scholarship:
Application to be sent directly to APUS (address is in the Scholarship Directory).  Due by March 15th.

The Barber Dechaine French Studies Scholarship:
All application materials are due to Mrs. Stuntz in Guidance by March 27th.

The Paul Ranalli Scholarship Fund:
Completed application must be postmarked no later than March 6th.

Paul M. Saab Memorial Kiwanis Scholarship:
Completed application must be postmarked no later than March 31st.  Student must include a copy of the acceptance letter from Shepherd University.

University Healthcare Foundation, Judge Gray Silver, Jr.:
Complete application must be mailed no later than March 31st.

University Healthcare Foundation, Frank Sabado, Jr. MD Tennis Classic:
Complete application must be mailed no later than March 31st.

Vocal Music Boosters Scholarship:
Submit 3 COMPLETE COPIES to Mr. Cooper no later than Friday March 5th, at 3:00 p.m.


SANDER JENNINGS SPREAD THE LOVE SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 4/29/21)
Navigating high school and preparing for college in the midst of a pandemic is hard on young students' ability to love, accept, and have gratitude for their important lives. Bold.org is honored to work with Sander Jennings to ignite more love & acceptance in our world and look forward to receiving applications from Washington High School.  All GPAs and planned future fields of study will be considered for the Sander Jennings Spread the Love Scholarship.

ELEVATE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 6/1/21)

PORCH SKILLED TRADE & TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 4/16/21)
Growing demand and lack of qualified workers in skilled trades and technology means it is a great time to go back to school and enter these lucrative and fast-growing industries.  To help keep up with demand and assist the next generations of professionals, Porch will award a $2,000 scholarship four times a year to eligible students.

Entries are now being accepted for the Winter scholarship which runs from January 16, 2021 to April 16, 2021.  See the following website for details and application.  APPLY NOW

ALBERT YANNI SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 4/2/21)
The 2021-2022 Albert Yanni Scholarship application is now available for graduating CTE seniors.  The application can be found on the West Virginia Department of Education website (www.wvde.us) under Technical & Adult Education and Career Technical Education - blue button entitled "Student Honors and Scholarships."  Please note this is an update form for 2021-2022.  Your application must be postmarked no later than April 2, 2021.  Applications may be mailed, faxed, e-mailed, or hand delivered (information can be found on the Scholarship Announcement below).

2021 JOSH TUCK SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 3/31/21)

The 2021 Josh Tuck Scholarship application is now available for seniors who are planning to attend Bluefield, Fairmont, Marshall, or WVU TECHv to study in the Healthcare Management field.  Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2021.  APPLY NOW

EPBCF SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 3/29/21)
The Eastern Panhandle Bar Association Charitable Foundation scholarship is now available for students who plan to graduate in May of 2021.  The foundation is pleased to announce an increase in the scholarship award from $750 to $1,000 per recipient.  Please note that this year, the foundation is requiring that all applications be sent via e-mail to both Tracey Rohrbaugh and Sandra K. Smith (specifics are included in the application). APPLY NOW

ROBERT P. McGARRY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP (DEADLINE 4/15/21)
The Robert P. McGarry Farm Bureau Scholarship for graduating seniors is now available.  This scholarship is worth $1,000 a semester, renewable for up to 8 semesters.  Consideration is given to applicants that are 4-H or FFA members, have work experience in agriculture, are pursuing a degree in an agriculture, or have career aspirations in the industry.  The packet is included here and must be postmarked by April 15.   APPLY NOW
